My name is Vaid Prakash, or you can call me "VP" for short. I have spent more than 3 decades in the films/television industry, starting as a sound-recordist, a role that is extremely vital to the making of films and working my way up, to Story Writing, Direction, Editing and Screenplay. My work has received recognition at both national and international platforms.
I have recently retired from my full-time job and the responsibilities it entailed. And I am marking 2012 as the year of creative and production independence for myself.
I am well versed with the major parlance of Films Production and I will be spending more of my time on freelance work, writing books and teaching younger generation everything about the films.
My firs major book titled "The Art of Movie Making" is being published and will be released in May-Jun 2012 time-frame.
